Log4OM

Hello all SOTA chasers,

I was just wondering what my fellow SOTA chasers are doing when they log contacts. Log4OM auto-populates the name and address fields. Since the activators are never (unless they live on a summit) at their home address, do you change any location information when you log a contact? Log4OM also populates the grid square. Does anyone change that too?

If you don't do SOTA, the same would apply to POTA and most any other portable operation.

Not a big deal, just wondering how others handle it.

If the user enters a grid ref for the SOTA activator it's not updated from the lookup thus preserving the integrity of the location

Interesting...and the grid square is easily obtained by clicking the summit reference in the spot. Good to know.
