Lost Cat Control

Yaesu 450 D
Windows 10
I had log4OM working fine with my radio and was able to cahange frequency and band using the mouse and computer. The frequency was also shown on the pc and contacts were all logged automatically.
Some time ago it all stopped working, I assume due to a windows update changing the driver.
I have tried installing what I believed to be the correct driver but with no success.
Any advice on the correct driver (and where to get it) and how to install it on a micro pc with no cd or floppy drive would be appreciated.

As far as I know there is not a special driver for the FT450, you just plug in the USB interface cable and Windows allocates the driver and com port.

In Device manager look at LPT & Com ports and watch what happens as you plug and unplug the interface cable, you will see a new port appear as you plug the cable in, this is the com port you should use in Omnirig for your radio interface.

Now check what baud rate the radio has set in its menu for the CAT interface and use the same baud rate in Omnirig

Once you have selected the radio, com port and baud rate in Omnirig click OK and you should have a working interface
