'OUT OF BAND'

Post by N9BBE »

I'm probably missing something somewhere but not sure where. On 40mtrs I get an OUT OF BAND when I am above 7200khz. Just noticed it a few weeks back. Not sure when it started exactly. The mode in the log does show SSB. I'm using ver 1.15.0.0. What have I over looked?

Sounds like you have not set your country and region details in the station information tab of the options.

This is due to the software using the wrong regional. Bandplan due to the above

Happy New Year Terry. That was my first thought also.

Here's the setting under the Station Info tab:
Locator: EN51WG
Country: United States
ITU Zone: 8
CQ Zone: 4
Just saw this under the Settings 1 tab:
IARU: 1 (this needs to be set to 2, this fixed my problem)

I didn't notice the region setting until after reading your reply of course. I figured there was something I was overlooking...
This is probably nit-picking but can the IARU field be moved to the Station Info tab? Would seem to be a more appropriate place for it.

Anyway thanks for kicking the old grey matter. According to the wife it needs it once in awhile...
