I haven't used Log4om for quite a while as I have been waiting for 1.16.0.0 which I installed yesterday. I wonder if I am doing something wrong, forgotten a setting or something because I was sure that this used to work....
I click on "Recent QSO (F7)" then click 'Detach Grid' and place the Recenr QSO window when I would like it to be, resize it etc, but, when I close the program down, then reopen, the Recent QSO window does not re-appear, and I have to go through the opening of Recent QSO and Detach Grid again...
Have I missed something that saves detached grids and then reopens them next program use ???

John,
I think that you are correct but I have just turned of the PC for the night so I will check in the morning and get back to you.

I thought that we made the window position persistent on restart a long time ago at the request of a user in Tasmania?

Yep, right on Terry. And that user was me... And it used to work, which is why I asked the question that started this thread.. As I said, I haven't used Log4om for several versions so cannot say when it stopped working. Anyway, as it is on the mantis list I guess it will be re-implemented sooner or later.
Thanks to all who answered.
