you can reach the configuration folder from HELP menu (last item in the help menu)

You need to copy:
config.xml
communicatorconfig.xml
all users modified files (files that ends with _user)

Next release will provide a backup of the config files in the backup folder

Please take note you should revise the whole configuration to check paths

I did a check on Config.xml and Communicatorconfig.xml, but they seem not to be in Ascii format neither editable.

Take note that I checked both them while log4om was running, but other XML files was editable (es clublog)

You don't need to edit the files just copy them to a memory stick and then paste them to the same location on the other computer

Also just take a copy of your SQLite database to the other computer then all should work fine

config files are encrypted in BASE64 to provide a very very basic security to your configuration file.
You can find base64 online conversion websites on the net, if you're curious :)

I will probably unencrypt the file in a future version...

Obviously you must save config files and your log file. Your log file is backupped at every program close (if set, default yes) but you can save your database file and open it in another instance

I am trying a porting
Ok for the xml files, the location path is the same
But the path of the sql lite is different as I am moving from win64 to a win7 32 and the progam folder is named differently.
How can I make the sqllite visible on the second pc ?
Tnx

Why not use Dropbox to store your logbook SQLite file then you can use it from either PC

See full instructions in the user guide

Hi Terry
You are right
But I did not setup the db file sqllite in dropbox os indipendent folder (my fault)

Perhaps I should have to setup another more standard nstallation from scratch and importing adif from previuos installation

Just copy the SQLite logbook file to the Dropbox folder - And then in Log4om go to file/open database and navigate to the SQLite file in the Dropbox folder - Job done :D
