Hi All,
I'm using an Ic7200 and Ic7000. When I click on an entry in the cluster window, the radio goes to the frequency ok but when using the 7200 it also changes filter bandwidths. Likewise, when using the 7000, it changes filter bandwidths and also changes mode from cw to cw reverse. Is this a blip in the programme or perhaps a bug in Omni Rig?

Ron,
Try unchecking the "CAT will switch to digital modes" check box in the Log4OM/Options/CAT & Cluster tab and let me know what happens

I am using an Icom IC-7410 and when I uncheck "Cat will switch to digital modes" , if i click on a digital spot the freq. changes and it goes to USB like it should. However if i click on a CW spot it goes to CW-R so there is a problem there. Could be related to Omnirig.

Re: Rig control
Ron/Aldo
The Omnirig ini file for your rigs have CW-U and CW-L these being used dependent upon the band change chosen
You can edit the ini file in Notepad and save it again as an ini file
The rig descriptor ini files reside in the Afreet/Omnirig/Rigs folder which is in the Windows Program files folder
The filter bandwidths for each mode are probably set in the rig menus, Omnirig is not setting your filter widths as far as I can see
Here is the ini file contents for the 7200 (7000 is almost identical) and as you will see there is nothing related to filter width

Hi Terry
Thanks for your reply. Had a look at "cat will switch to digi modes" and it's already unchecked. Unfortunately, your second post goes way over this old man's head! I'm no computer whizz kid and I'm afraid it's all gobbledegook to me. Think I'll just live with it but many thanks for your replies.

Ron,
If I sent you a modified rig descriptor ini could you save it to the correct directory?
Alternatively if you have Skype or install Teamviewer I could do it for you

Let's see if I have this right, I'll use note pad to open the file. I'll change CW-U and CW-L to just CW in both instances and save it!
It should work! Am I correct Terry?
