Hi,
I've installed Log4OM.
I've connected my IC756Pro and initially CAT control works, but then drops out. CAT only lasts several minutes and then it doesn't connect.
I installed HRD previously and i don't have any issues with CAT control.
Any ideas??
Windows 7
Using Com 3
Hamlib launched Green light
CAT Status Red light
Any help appreciated.

Re: CAT dropping out
Hi Shaun,
For reliability please download, install and use Omnirig
Omnirig also has the advantage of being able to use two rigs apart from being a much easier interface.
BTW I use Omnirig with both my ProIII and IC7000 on a windows 7 system

Re: CAT dropping out
Anyway could be useful to detect and fix Hamlib issues, since Omnirig is almost discontinued while Hamlib is alive and growing.
Can be an issue related to your windows firewall, since Hamlib supports remoting the CAT on another PC.
Can you check your logfile (from help menu) searching for error messages? Usually this can be solved by running Log4OM as administrator, since it opens TCP ports on your system to be able to deal with other softwares.
Thanks for your help
