I am having a 'bad hair' day today and I'll just bet that the answer to my question is somewhere in the manual, but I can't find it (what's my name again ? )
I want to add JT9-1 to the list of modes in the mode drop down box.... How please ???

Re: Adding a new mode
According to the ARRL for LOTW purposes, we should modify our TQSL file to associate JT9 QSOs as "DATA".
When JT9 becomes part of the ADIF language (which they do not administer), you will be able to re-upload these QSOs as JT9, and they will overwrite the previous DATA uploads.

Re: Adding a new mode
So the suggestion is to add a DATA mode to the mode list file, and then wait for JT9 in the ADIF standard.
I'm now reading ADIF 3.04 specs for making Log4OM compliant.

Re: Adding a new mode
The ARRL announces the availability of a new "Configuration Data File", version
1.20. Looking at the contents of "Configuration Data File" v. 1.20
shows there to be one *significant* change in the data modes tQSL will
directly accept without the need for mapping to DATA.
With config.xml v. 1.20, tQSL now accepts JT9, JT9-1, JT9-2, JT9-5,
JT9-10 and JT9-30. All of the "sub-modes" are correctly rewritten as
JT9 for WAS and JT9 is placed in the DATA group for DXCC purposes.
It will be necessary to reupload QSOs that were classified as Data to JT9.

Re: Adding a new mode
This is correct and when the new modes are listed in ADIF it will work fine.
Both Daniele and I serve on the ADIF group and we have the specs
