Hi
I would like your help in order I can have the mode correct when I make a double click inside Cluster.
Making a double click everything works fine except Mode. It is always in SSB.
If I have CAT working, no problem, I got the right Mode.
In settings I confirm I have Region "1".
Could you please help to see what I am doing wrong.
Many thanks.

Re: Double click in Cluster / Mode update
Hi Manuel
Mode in ADIF is SSB. There is no USB/LSB in the adif protocol, so there is not LSB/USB in the mode drop down list. Different is if you're using a DIGITAL MODE.
The Cluster doesn't contain any info about mode. If bandplan reports DIGITAL log4om sets SSB as standard mode (it's a wrong value, but writing PSK31 instead of RTTY by default is even worst).
There is a small button to fix MODE, so the mode is kept even in the case you change frequency and the system will determine you're working in DIGI mode -> SSB on the mode.
If you click in the small lock symbol near MODE the program will not change mode anymore.
USB and LSB in CAT management is a different thing. This is driven by Log4OM band plan xml file. In the bandplan you can select USB or LSB by updating the file itself (but it should be correct, and we have a new version upcoming).
Hope this helps
Daniele

Re: Double click in Cluster / Mode update
Hello Daniele,
Sorry I was not very clear on my previous message.
I understand SSB = USB / LSB no problem.
My problem is rather different: in case I have a spot on 14.020 - inspite it is in CW portion the mode I have is always SSB. It does not changes to CW neither to digital if is the case. Otherwise it works fine if I am using CAT

Re: Double click in Cluster / Mode update
Hi Manuel,
Let me interpret what I believe is your issue
With CAT the mode changes correctly as you select a spot
However without CAT connection although the frequency display changes correctly when you click a spot the mode does not!
It that correct?

Re: Double click in Cluster / Mode update
Hi Manuel,
OK I just checked this out and the problem is that the mode does not change without the rig connected - ever!
If you are in CW and click a SSB spot that does not change the mode either, unless the rig is connected.
I will speak to Daniele today about this as it seems strange and clearly is nothing to do with the band plan but something allied to CAT control, anyway I am sure that he will resolve the issue.
Thanks for identifying this problem.
