Digital Master 780

Post by KM4AHP »

I noticed on one of your you tube videos that you mentioned Log4OM works with Digital Master 780. Is their a way to link the two so when you put in a call sign in one, it populates the other?

Thanks,
Mark

QSO Forwarding via UDP from DM780 towards log4om, does it work between two differenr PC's?

DM780 running on eg 192.168.1.10 and log4om running on 192.168.1.11.
I was trying it out yesterday but did not see any update in log4om.
Firewalls on bot machines are off.
Forwarding port in DM780 is the same as LOG4OM.

Or is log4om the UDP listener bound to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) iso the ip@ of the interface.

IPEndPoint endpoint = new IPEndPoint(IPAddress.Any, port);

Log4om listen on every IP on the current machine for incoming messages that arrives on the indicated TCP port

Got it......

IN HRD there are two places where you can do QSO forwarding:

1. In HRD logbook, that is where i activated the QSO forwarding, but this is NOT working, nothing is forwarded from there towards the destination. (Traces done with wireshark etc..) :evil:
2. In DM780 you also can activate the QSO forwarding and that IS working. :idea:

Sorry for the trouble but we learned again something.

I asked because several people have told me that QSO forwarding from DM780 has also been disabled in version 6.00, I don't know how true this is?
