Incorrect country

Post by VK7XX »

I have no idea if this is a Log4om error or something I have done..... Yesterday (my time) I worked 3D2/ZL1FF and, after I uploaded the contact to Club Log I got back an email saying :-

"Callsign: 3D2/ZL1FF Date: 2014-09-06 04:28:30 Band: 15 QSL: No
Your log claims NEW ZEALAND. Overriding your choice and using FIJI ISLANDS."

Once again we have an operator using a partial prefix, 3D2. The 3D2 prefix must have a letter following it to resolve to the proper entity.

3D2R is Rotuma and 3D2C is Conway Reef.

I have updated the Log4OM country file (Sept 07, 2014) to resolve this. After this update, any 3D2/ call will resolve as Fiji.

Hi
HF0YOTA was classified as south shetland, but it is poland.

I am using QRZ as external source. I see that the info are not formatted in standard way, and that's could be the problem
