I do a heck of a lot of operating in the JT65 mode and have noticed that frequently, the orange highlight that shows mode lock is enabled just disappears making it appear at a glance that the mode is not locked.

If it worked, a screen shot should be attached. In this SS, the mode is locked, but the highlight has vanished.

You found a nice little error

I have tested and same here. Looks like this error occures if there was an entry in the callsign field and the station will be logged and/or the calssign field will be cleared ..... Not seen b4 while testing the Beta and RC1
