Hello,
First off let me give you a Great Big THANKS for creating and maintaining such a Great Log Program.
I absolutely Love it !!!
It has been working flawlessly for me here until today when I was trying to post ZS6TAN on the cluster after working him. I was on 28485.0 with him and just before entering the contact I noticed that when I hit the "green button" icon beside the callsign the cluster posted that I was the poster, but it had our contact on 15m 21285.0..... I actually gave it another try and it posted the contact on 80m 3. something....
Shut down the Log and Restarted it.
I guess I'll see what happens next time..
Just a "heads Up" on the only problem I have ever had with the log.
I still Love it !!!!
Thanks a Million !

Re: Wrong band and Freq. when trying to post to the Cluster
Hi Joe,
That is strange, I don't suppose that you noticed what was displayed in the freq, band & mode fields of the enter QSO pane?
Keep an eye on it and see if the CAT light at the bottom is still green because it could be that you lost the CAT connection.
Please let us know if it happens again and if it does save the log file before closing the program (help/show log)
The log file lets us know what is happening so any time you have an issue go and save the log before closing the program.

I'll do a check, and add a log trace to this part of the software if missing.
I hate bugs...
Thanks for reporting

Re: Wrong band and Freq. when trying to post to the Cluster
Thanks Guys for the quick return to my post.
Terry, I did notice if the fields you discribed were filled in with the correct band and freq. and I did have the appropriate info in those fields. And the program recorded the correct info in the record of the QSO, just didn't post it correctly as far as I can tell.
More DX in today so I'll try posting someone I work and we'll see what happens.
All the Best !!
Thanks Again!

Re: Wrong band and Freq. when trying to post to the Cluster
Hi Terry,
Well I use a Yaesu FT-950 that is NOT connected to the computer. So I do all of the adjustments maually,
as far as the Freq.,band, mode , call sign, etc..... I did save the log file on my desk top.
Thanks

Hi Joe,
That narrows it down a lot, could you email me the log file please?
My guess is its spotting the last cluster spot that you clicked on

Re: Wrong band and Freq. when trying to post to the Cluster
Hi Joe,
I know that I informed you by email that we had found the issue but for the benefit of other users....
Because you log manually the spot frequency is being taken from cluster scanner bottom right frequency item, that is updated by cluster.
If a user changes freq in manual mode it will not be used to send spot.
We have now changed this and now the spot can be set only from main frequency that you type or that is retrieved by CAT.
Thanks for finding the bug it will be fixed in the next release
