Display issue

Post by VE3VEE »

A friend of mine, a new user of LOG4OM, just sent me an email with the attached picture showing a display issue. This happened just after he downloaded and installed a new version, which I'm assuming is version 1.17.1.0. He did not experience this issue with the previous version he had.

He did uninstall his previous version of LOG4OM prior to installing this new one.

Maximizing or resizing the window has no effect on the issue.

Any ideas what he can try?

Thanks,

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. He tested all of them, and at the end he found out the problem was caused by his default font-size in Windows which was set to Medium - 125%. He changed it to 100%, and all was suddenly OK.

Thanks again!

Laco, OM3IM, asked me to mention here that he had no issue with the 125% setting using the previous version of LOG4OM. This issue only appeared after installing the current version. Other than that, he appreciates the improvements in the new version.

Thanks again on his behalf.

Hi Marvin,
space on desktop is the worst nightmare for me.
Keeping compatibility with "small PC" for field use is really hard, i must use every bit of space trying to keeping the user interface simple, clear and with the lower number of tabs to make it simple.

It's a constant battle :)
