I've updated the Log4OM country file for the stupid England/Scotland temporary prefix crap that does not follow the ITU assignments. Crazy! But then who else could mess up a revolution! As my Brit friends would say, "It's cocked up".
Effective date on Feb 13, 2014. Expires on Nov 30, 2014.
"The dates are from Burns Night (25 January 2014) to St Andrews Day (30 November 2014). During this period a GM station can apply for a NoV (notice of variation) to OFCOM (UK regulator) to sign with a GA prefix, and likewise the other prefixes MM = MA, 2M = 2A"
GA, MA and 2A prefixes are now Scotland instead of England.
Note:
DO NOT expect QRZ, HamQTH and LOTW to resolve these calls properly and look ups will not work for these calls from these sites.
DO expect errors from LOTW as these prefixes are not in compliance with the ITU assigments.
