Time Stamp Missunderstanding or Bug?

Post by w9nz »

The qso start time should be entered when you leave the call sign box. What I'm finding is that when I double click on a spot in order to get my 7410 onto that frequency to listen to a particular station, the start time has been established. At this point however, a qso has not started. If I click only one time on a spot, the call sign is entered and the clock continues to run until I leave the call sign box but it take a double click to go to that frequency which is stopping the clock. Seems to me that for the feature to be useful, you need to be able to get to the spot frequency without the start time clock stopping. So, am I doing something wrong?

I suppose you have set the option to "fix the start time when leaving the callsign field", right?
