Unicode diacritics

Using JTAlert and it is configured for QRZ lookups.
Started a QSO with CO2WL which JTAlert looked up on QRZ and got his name WITH diacritic chars.
Laurie says he's tested before and the chars are passed to Log4OM but Log4OM turns them into "?"

So LÁZARO ÁLVAREZ PADRÓN becomes L?azaro ?Lvarez PadR?n

Does Log4OM support unicode chars?
