Hi Don,
Sometimes this is caused because LOTW is down but I just tried it and it all functioned as expected, see my download result below:

So it has to be something local to your computer, usually a password or user name problem or in the case of upload issues a TQSL Cert that has expired but I guess you checked all of those things.

Have you recently changed anything or installed some new software and are you using the latest version of Log4OM and the TQSL software?

Terry,

I seem to be experiencing similar LoTW download problems as Don . I can upload to LoTW without any errors but when I try to download I get this error:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
4/2/2017 6:36:12 PM: Begin ADIF generation request
4/2/2017 6:36:12 PM: Login ac5ez
4/2/2017 6:36:12 PM: qso_owncall AC5EZ
4/2/2017 6:36:18 PM: ADIF request accepted
4/2/2017 6:36:18 PM: ADIF document downloaded
4/2/2017 6:36:18 PM: ADIF document parsed: 0 qso found.
4/2/2017 6:36:18 PM: *********** Warning: Returned HTML FILE in LOTW download. Please check file saved in C:\Users\KMR\Documents\Amateur Radio\Log4OM\TQSL Bkup\20170402133618_LOTW_INCOMING_FILE.ADI
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I checked to make sure I have the correct password set for LoTW in Log4OM.

I un-checked the "date range" box so date should not be an issue.

I know for a fact that I have 50+ QSO/QSL confirmations but Log4OM will not import them.
There is also a problem with the Warning message above. The file is not an ADIF file it is in fact a HTML file (see attachment. Forum would not accept *.ADI file so had to changed extension to *.txt. Rename the file extension to html to read it.)

If I download the confirmed QSLs manually can I merge the file into my logbook? will all the status and date files be updated correctly?

Hi Ken,

are you shure you have set the correct password in the settings ? There are 2 possible passwords for LotW.
The green marked ist the login password for the LotW Page and it is needed for a correct download of your
incoming verifications. The red one is the password (private pass) for your TQ6 File if it has a password.
If it has not you can leave it blanc but it´s only the password that is be used by TQSL for uoloads.

Screenshot deleted. It was showing my HDRlog.net password

B.t.w. here up- and downloads are working perfect since i start using Log4OM. No problems at all. ;) ;)

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have verified the "green box" password. I even cut and pasted the same password I use when I manually login to LoTW so it should be correct. Sense I am the only one using this PC I do not use the "red box" password.

I'm at a loss as to why Log4OM will not download. I'm going to keep digging and trying different things until it works.

Thanks for the help.

The password should be the same as the one you use to login to the LOTW website - the online login

Terry,

Here is what I have tried.
(1) Reset password @ LoTW, tested OK.
(2) Reset passwords in Log4OM. Tried to download QSO's from LoTW no success same empty file.
(3) Turned on Log4OM trace, tried to download QSO's again same 0 result.
(4) Checked the trace text file and Log4OM appears to be using the correct login and password.
(5) I can manually download the QSO's using the same parameters and all works fine.

Any thing you can think of that might not be working? I'll email you the trace files and any other files if it would help.

Hi Ken,
stay tuned for a few days.
We have V1.28 in beta test and Lele has integrated a better error management for LotW downloads.
Maybe that can help to find out what´s going wrong withn your LotW downloads.

;) ;)
