KML/Google Earth overlays

Post by g4pdf »

Re: The Maidenhead grid squares I referred to, these are the ones you export from Log4OM using the QSO Archive management facility icon 'Plot KLM' [RTFM ;) ].
The WAB Grid square overlay I found after doing an internet search; same with WAB Trig points overlay.

PS. I have just finished many days of work with the Directory of British Hills database [DoBIH]* to produce a tracable HuMPS reference source for the HuMPS award; I can plot those points on GE from a temporary overlay too (bagged a /P station operating from Dunstable Downs)

*The Summitbase Humps website [http://www.summits.org.uk/] appears to mix it's sources (unquoted?), contains some inaccurate locator grids (only shown for English Humps), and IMHO has the appearance of an incomplete work-in-progress.

Thanks for the reply Bob, I'll take a look at this when I have some spare time.

I just thought that I would post to mention that Google Earth *Pro* is now free!
