WWF award dropdown incorrect

Post by VK5PL »

When entering an Australian callsign (VK) and selecting the WFF award, when you click the dropdown to select the reference worked, at the top of the list are some non VK references 1SFF, E5FF, FFF and RFF and at the bottom of the VK list is ZLFF-0016, a total of 18 non VK references.
I looked at the references and they do not have a DXCC country code.

Yes, we were not able to assign a DXCC code to those references (please note the matching is completely hand made) so parks not related to any DXCC are shown on ALL dxcc's.

We're in touch with WWFF management to provide a better service and maybe an automatic integration between Log4OM and this very popular award. Hopefully soon.

Actually, the whole work is made manually and takes a couple of hours

My understanding is that automatic updating of WWFF references in Log4OM has now been implemented.

For VK there are 19 non-VK references listed.
Who do I contact to clean up the WWFF references and remove these 19 errors?

Gerald
We downloaded the latest reference list from WWFF on Monday this week so it should be up to date.

Did you do a manual download of the awards which will provide that list

Otherwise let us have the missing references and we will add them and perhaps you could advise WWFF that they are not in the download

And BTW Gerald there has been zero response from WWFF about integration so no it's not automatic yet

Guess they are as disinterested in cooperating with software developers as they are for enrolling new registered users, I have been waiting 2 weeks for them to ok my registration application

After writing a considered reply I pressed Submit and was greeted by the Login screen.
There seems to be no auto-save and no way to recover the content.

Is the value for Session length documented anywhere on the board?

I will have to make time to write it all again unless there is an alternative.

I have had this happen to me and find it infuriating but there seems no way to resolve it or find the reason for it

BTW I still have not received a registration reply from WWFF :(
