Momentary stop of the automatic sending of the qsl.

Post by F1NQP »

Hello.

As soon as a qso is entered in log4om, the qsl goes via eqsl.cc, and that's perfect.

But when I do qso local, I would not send qsl. Is there a way to stop sending qsl at this time?

Thank you for this great software.

Go to settings>Exrenal Logs>Uncheck the ClubLog Automatic Upload.

Don't forget to set it back when your with local.

I would actually prefer a user-configurable delay before any QSL is automatically sent.

The reason is that I am strict with myself as to whether I consider a QSO valid or not. Often, by the time I have made that decision, the QSL has already been sent. So I have auto-send disabled . The delay would give me a chance to cancel the QSL (possibly a single button or key combo) before it is sent.

Just turn off the auto uploads in the options then upload them manually as required. either individually or by bulk upload after a sort and select

Thank you all for your responses.
Too bad an option is not available when typing. It is not practical.
Thanks again and 73.

Have you check other loggers which have the possibility for automatted uploads ?
Think it´s always the same and you can only switch the automatted uploads on
or off in the softwares settings.

Think there is not one logger which have the possiblitity to check or uncheck
automatted uploads in the main logging window.

By the way, why did you log local contacts ? Here in DL ist a "you can log" rule and
not longer a "you must log". I never log local contacts except it´s a new station and
a QSL is needed. In that case an automatted upload to clublog or eQSL isn´t a problem.

Hello Juergen.
The French administration obliges us to record all contacts made, including local contacts ;-)
I do not want to try other LOG software. This one is perfect, despite this little trouble.
73 and good traffic.

The UK also does not have any obligation to keep a log. I do keep a log for everything except CQ calls. Amateurs in Ireland also have to keep a full and complete log.

have a great weekend.
