I already said in my other post that the EU-HF contest does NOT require a serial number and you should use a fixed string
You should send 17 because that's the last two digits of the year you were first licenced
You should enter the two numbers received from the other station like 80 or 89 or 49 only
The RST you record in the RST fields not the contest fields

Re: Contests
There could also be an issue with the ADIF to cabrilio converter, why not use N1MM contest logger or similar which will create the Cabrlio file locally and then import the N1MM ADIF into Log4om?

Hello Graham,M6VWX wrote:Thanks for your reply David yes it is ok with just the serial number like 001 but some contest are like 001 27 when i do this it dose not recognize the 27 even if i put it in the suffix it still dose not recognise it . The same with the received serial number if it is just say 004 it is ok but when i add a number like 004 25 it dose not recognize the 25 that is the problem .
Thank you for your reply; I now have a better understanding on what you are trying to achieve. I can confirm that I have made a Log Entry based on your requirements and the information was saved, the auto increment also worked. Rather than tie up the Forum, maybe we should continue via emails so that we can go through your issue stage by stage. Please drop me an Email using my Email Address on QRZ.COM

Re: Contests
Hello Terry,
Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been away for a few days.
The issue has now been resolved. I went through a process of elimination and suspected an issue with a 3rd Party ADIF to Cabrillo Converter Program. The author was co-operative and has revised his code. Graham has used Lo4OM in a couple of recent Contests and used the ADIF to Cabrillo Conversion with good results.

If you recall I suggested that the ADIF to Cabrillo converter could be the issue and I am pleased that the author of that program was eventually approached for assistance.

Re: Contests
At first I thought I'd sorted the issue (Configuration Setting) but subsequently found issues with other Contests. This was subsequently traced to the Converter Program itself. Anyway, everyone's happy with the outcome that's the main thing.
