For that interface I would have expected to see the audio config screen of FLDigi indicating the Line output as the output device, not the USB?, unless you have perhaps an external sound device also connected to the interface.

The fact that the radio is going into transmit proves that the PTT is being triggered but no power output would indicate a sound device issue?

I am using an external USB Sound Card.

Here is a link that describes the situation pretty well with the TS-2000 http://ab3bo.com/ts-2000-push-talk-resolution/

So are you running this remote as in your example and using the Kenwood software?

No, I was focusing on:
I needed to be able to toggle the PKS line (pin 9) on the ACC2 port.
When the PKS line is held Low (Grounded) the MIC connection on the front
of the radio is muted/disabled and audio input to the radio is accepted via the
PKD line (pin 11) on the ACC2 port.

This is done by enabling the un-enabling the RTS line on the Com port.
I needed to do this using the RTS line on Windows COM3.
In HRD I was able to get it to work by checking "Always Use RTS instead of sending Cat commands" in the COM Port Settings.

If I understand it correctly, on a TS-2000 if you issue a TX Cat command, it will enable PTT, but it expects audio input from the Mic. If you raise RTS high on the ACC2 port, it will enable PTT and accecpt audio from the ACC2 port and mute the mic.

If you look at the CAT commands for the TS-590 you can send a TX1 and it accepts Audio from the ACC2 port and mutes the mic, but Kenwood appears to have not implemented that in the TS-2000.

This seems to be more of an Fldigi issue than Log4om but perhaps another user can advise? because I have not had a Kenwood radio for 20 years and therefore can't be of further help.
