Website update option. (online log)

Post by pd1ahm »

The Log4om v2.1.0.0 is very good and pleasant to work with.
So my congratulations to the people who made it, I'm very happy with this fine update.

Still I have 1 question, is there a possibility to generate an online log in v2 like in v1.xx?
I can't find the website update option.

73 and thanks for this great update!

Hi Terry,

The only thing I could find is for pages like QRZ, LOTW, but I mean for my own webpage.
In the 1.3xx version generate Log4OM a local log-webpage and uploaded it to my own page.
That I can't find that in the documentation.

Hans,

Check out Page 116 in the Users Guide. ADIF Post is the title that may be what you are looking for.

Hi Nolan,

Thank you for the tip.
ADIF post Log4OM is able to send a POST/GET message to an external website, passing custom parameters and required payloads
But unfortunately it is not the solution I was looking for. The previous versions had a generated webpage with an .html output. You can put this easely on your own webpage.

Tnx for al the tips!
I'm so sorry but it didn't help me. I made a print-screen of the old v1 version.

I can't find a way to do this with the ADIF files.

Ok so I really hope that this can get resolved and we will be able to create and upload a HTML generated page as was the case in V1.

In the mean time as a work-around for those like myself who can't or do not want to use the ADIF post and PHP I did the following.

I reinstalled V1 of the program and then setup to log from V2 to V1 as described in the Manual on page 156.

Once this is setup, as you record a entry in the V2 logbook it is also logged in V1 and I then setup V1 to publish page as before.

Bit of setup but once done all good.

Take a look at http://www.vk4fi.net.au/logbook.htm
