My Lat/My Lon

Post by K0HB »

I notice that V2 records these ADIF fields.

From whence are they gathered? Would like to slightly modify them.

Hello Hans,

this is calculated from your gridsquare. If you have a 6 digit grid it shows you in the
middle of the square. For more exact position there must be used a 8 or 10 digit locator
but we dont have it in Log4OM.

You can check your position here: https://www.qrz.com/gridmapper

Fill in your gridsquare and let it search.

If you need to change something you may do it with bulk editing in QSO manager but
if you log new entries there are only the LAT/LON you have now. So a lot of edit
work for more accuracy.

;) ;)

OK. It places my shack directly in the center lane of a busy Interstate highway. The big 18-wheelers keep me awake at night as they blare their klaxon and swerve to avoid my bed.
