Re: LOG40OM and Maria DB
To import your HRD Contacts into Log4om you would need to do an ADIF Export from HRD and an ADIF Import into Log4om. However, you may lose some Data stored in HRD UserDef Fields.

Re: LOG40OM and Maria DB
Thank you for your answer. I know that. But i want to have the same database for both programs . Is that possible? So if someone want to change logbook will loose data? I imported my adif from hrd and qso before 2017 disappeared...

Re: LOG40OM and Maria DB
No, that's not possible. Log4om and HRD Databases are completly different and for example they use different Field names.

Re: LOG40OM and Maria DB
Hello SV8JNL (please create a signature with your name in),
i hope you refer to Log4OM V1 (latest is 1.41) and not to V2. V2 can handle only ADIF 3 to import.
If you use HRD free (v 5.xx by Simon Brown) you can´t export to ADIF 3. At the time when Simon
selling the code we are at ADIF 1 or 2.
So please tell us first your version of Log4OM (see HELP/About) and your version of HRD ...
If we don´t have this information we must use a crystal ball but we don´t have one
@ David, as i can see he´s referring to mySQL and not to sqlite. If HRD have an mySQL option
it could be possible i think ... But not shure

Re: LOG40OM and Maria DB
Hello Juergen,
HRD does have a MySQL Option, however, the Field Names etc differ between Log4OM and HRD such that in my opinion it won't be possible to share the same Database with Log4OM and HRD.
