Support for Transverters

Post by VK2XAX »

G'Day,
I'd like to see support for transverters added with both the transverters frequency and the driver radio's frequency displayed on the top bar.

Maybe an an array with radio buttons where each button represents an offset so that you can switch between 13,9,6 and 3cm or more, with a single click under the transverter frequency display.

Maybe even double-click the transverter display to set the current offset and band.

I use my FT817 almost exclusively for SHF transverters and it would be nice to have Log4OM log the frequency as 2403.1Mhz rather than the dial frequency of the FT817.

thanks

Tim

Hello Tim,

you can use the Transverter Offset in Settings/Cat & Cluster to let Log4OM show the correct
Frequency.

;) ;)

Hi Juergen,

I cant seem to make that work and it appears that it might be only for the currently active radio.

That being said , there needs to be a way to tell LOG4OM that you only want an offset on a nominated rig.

I still need multiple offset ability for my transverters all the way to 24Ghz. :)

regards

Tim

Not supported in version 1, you should upgrade to version 2

Version 1 is on maintenence only so no new features are being added

If you use Omnirig you can create a separate config for every transverter you own, to switch just select the correct config in Omnirig and it will report the desired frequency to Log4OM , no need to change anything in Log4OM.

i made a post about it a few years back viewtopic.php?f=6&t=178#p16103
