Hello,
I'm trying to set up the LOG4OM connection between my PC and an IC-705 but this transceiver does not appear in the Omnirig CAT settings. What's the best way to resolve this?

Re: IC-705 and LOG4OM/Omnirig
Have you updated to the latest rig files released a couple of weeks ago?
Did you try similar Icom rig files like 7000 or 706?
Did you instal the Icom USB drivers before connecting the radio to the pc?

Re: IC-705 and LOG4OM/Omnirig
I had a fresh in stall of LOG4OMm and Omnirig but will check for Omnirig updates.
I tried the IC-7610, but didn't know which rigs are similar regarding settings. I'll try others.
I had connected the rig to the PC over Bluetooth. Will try USB and check for driver installs if I can't get that to work.
Thanks, Terry

Pretty sure Omnirig and Hamlib do not support Bluetooth

Re: IC-705 and LOG4OM/Omnirig
The bluetooth connection creates a virtual com-port on the PC, i see no reason why it can't be used by any cat software.
However it might be wise not to start that way and first get it running via a cable.
