I've tried to find it in the manual, really I have, but I can't.
How do I freeze the QSO "Start" clock at the beginning of a QSO? Mine just keeps running, so my "Start" and "End" times are the same. I'm running V 2.23.0.0 on Win 10 machine.

Re: QSO Start time
There is another user with same issue, have you tried a fresh download and install?
Works fine here
BEFORE TABBING FROM CALL FIELD
AFTER TABBING FROM FIELD

Re: QSO Start time
Found it!
Its only working if you use the 'TAB' key to leave the field, not by mouse click

Re: QSO Start time
Having spoken to Lele he said the following:
"Yes it was working when clicking in other fields but it was also being triggered by any other update made on the user interface that removed the focus from callsign, and this was being done automatically in some cases when the focus moved away from callsign or if some services answered a bit later than expected resulting in being the last to update user interface"
As a result Lele had to limit the set time function when leaving the call field to ONLY be actioned by 'Tabbing' out of the field.
My apologies for not spotting this earlier but as a keyboard operator I tend not to use the mouse any more than I can help, I will edit the user guide accordingly when I have time and the text in the program config will be updated in due course.

Re: QSO Start time
OK, thanks!
I had thought that I only needed to leave the "call" box (by any means) - didn't try tabbing.
Re: QSO Start time
There is conditional "gotcha" lurking in this change.
If you populate the call box from the keyboard, the tab works as expected.
If you populate the call box by double-clicking a cluster spot, the call box does not have focus and the "QSO start" field continues to increment.
