Assumption... when a modelist_user.csv file has been created, it should be used throughout the program.
I have been using one of these files for several years, to support Q65 contacts. Here is a screen shot:
As you can see in this screen shot, Q65 is not on the modes list:
However, Q65 is shown as a mode when editing an existing contact:
Seems like there is an issue... This may explain why I can't log Q65 contacts with the proper mode from JTAlert anymore? Log4OM version 2.23.0.0 (and the previous version also).

modelist_user.csv Issue
Re: modelist_user.csv Issue
It would be great if one of the moderators could comment on this issue... is it a known bug, can it be reproduced, or is it operator error on my part?

Re: modelist_user.csv Issue
Checked out this issue with the new release v2.24.0.0. I'm now using the default modelist.csv from this release.
I'm now able to log Q65 contacts from WSJT-X -> JTAlert -> Log4OM.
Only odd thing I have noticed is that Q65 has been added to the bottom of the modelist as shown below, instead of where it should be based on alphabetical order of the modes:

Re: modelist_user.csv Issue
Bill,
Have you looked directly at the modelist.csv file?
I've double-checked mine and the Q65 item is properly sorted.
If you still have the modified modelist in the folder so the default list takes over? I'm pretty sure the Q65 item has been corrected in the default list.
Give it a try anyway to see.

Re: modelist_user.csv Issue
Nolan, I see the same Q65 entry on the default modelist.csv when I look at the file. I previously removed the modified version of the list, so the default version is active. But that's not what I'm describing...
If you use the QSO input area mode pulldown list, you will not see Q65 on the list, only Q15. So there is no way to specify the Q65 mode. However, if you automatically log one Q65 Contact (via WSJT-X -> JTAlert in my case), then Q65 shows up on the bottom of the pulldown list, as shown above in my previous message. If you then shut down LOG4OM, and restart it, Q65 no longer shows up on the pulldown list.
Of course, I don't know how the software is written, but it seems like the mode pulldown list on the QSO input screen is not using modelist.csv to determine its entries?
