config\temp folder size

config\temp folder size

Before upgrading to 2.26 I browsed through my portable Log4OM folders.
Surprised to find the config\temp folder being >350MB in size, 152 files, oldest 2.5 years old.
Are these files of temporary nature as the folder name suggests and can be deleted?
