First of all, I've been using Log4OM for the past year and love it! It seems like most of the other logging programs try to be too much and it becomes too confusing. Log4OM has more than I'll ever use, but it doesn't push the other stuff at me like the others do.
I recently built a new PC and re-installed everything. I installed the portable version of Log4OM this time around, but am having a couple of problems. I'll post my second problem in a separate post. I use a Hermes Lite 2 and am running Thetis on my PC. I use a Raspberry Pi running daemons of rigctld for both my HL2 and IC-7000. I am able to get Log4OM connected to the HL2 using the hamlib driver, but if I turn the HL2 off or some other event occurs to cause Log4OM to become disconnected from the HL2, the IP address in settings reverts from what I set (10.0.5.5) to 127.0.0.1. I then have to stop the CAT interface, change the IP address back, and then start the CAT interface again.
Thank you,
Chris, N9XCR
CAT Hamlib IP Reverts to 127.0.0.1
