Log4OM2 Flirg Hamlib stopped working

Post by M0LZN »

Hello,

Had Log4om, flirg and hamlib working ok. I followed this information here

Its now stopped working :(

Flirg and WSJT-X works great its just Log4OM not working.

I tried running C:\Users\james\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\hamlib\rigctl.exe from the command line with the command rigctl.exe --model=4 -z and it connects OK.

When i try to start CAT in log4om i get the following in the log.

Code: Select all

Been digging more in to this.
From the CMD at C:\Users\james\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2\hamlib.
Model 4 is flrig
rigctl --model=4 -Z work and I can query the radio via hamlib

Now from the quick log view Log4OM uses rigctld and if i try rigctld --model=4 -Z from the command line it does not work.

rigctl - control radio transceivers and receivers https://hamlib.sourceforge.net/html/rigctl.1.html
rigctld - TCP radio control daemon https://hamlib.sourceforge.net/html/rigctld.1.html

So even though I have it set as serial connection in Log4OM it looks like its trying to use network connected .

Not sure if this helps or I'm going down the wrong path.

Any ideas?

Cheers, latest version v2.28.0.0 seems to have fixed it :)
