V2.28.0.0 RST and MODE blinks when radio is on FT8 frx

Hi
When tuning around in SSB and when I come to a FT8 frequency (not intending to work FT8), Log4OM RSTs and MODE fields starts blinking. Please see the video attached to this link (Unlisted video viewable only via link on YT).

What is happening? is it a bug or normal or issue is somewhere in my setup?

Sounds like your on the edge of the FT8 area and Log4OM cannot decide which mode to select so it changes between the RST for FT8 and USB etc

Try reducing Omnirig poll Interval so that CAT is overulling the Log4OM band map

No there is not and there are two trains of thought on this, the FT8 brigade like it as it is and CW operators curse it so we are debating a possible change
