Persistent SQLITE error

Post by KK7PW »

I am having an issue with the current version (2.31.0.0) repeatedly requesting that I choose a SQLITE database. I am forced to choose an earlier dated database and it does not include QSO's made before the last close of the program. I would like not to lose my Q's.

I reviewed previous threads and tried creating a new dbase and importing data to recreate the database. It still is asking me to choose a database at launch.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Before this version, the auto-uploads and database functions worked fine.

Thanks for any ideas / suggestions. 73.

Where are you storing the database?

Same place I have been for years -- within my local Dropbox folder which then backs-up to cloud.

Check that a recent Windows update has not changed the security settings of those folders which would prevent access

Thanks. Could you be a little more specific? What would I be looking for?

I ca t be specific but look for files and folders that are now read only or anti virus or firewall settings which h have changed.

Perhaps relocate the sqlite database to your documents folder as a test of accessibility
