LOTW Upload Problem

Post by K8TJM »

Hello,

I worked TX7W on 4/23/24 with FT8. In Log4OM it shows that I uploaded to LOTW. I went to LOTW this morning and looked for TX7W but it's not there. I went into edit QSO/QSL Info changed LOTW set from yes to no and tried to upload it again. Checked back to LOTW later and it's still not there.

In spot checking other QSO's it appears that this problem only exists with TX7W.

Update - I went to upload it manually but got an error that my county was USA instead of Summit. Not sure why that would happen as all the other QSOs have been fine. Changed that via ADIF Master and tried to upload again and everything seems to have worked.

Terry,

Check base QTH settings in Log4OM and those in those 3rd party FTxx APPs. Your county & country values might be flipped in one of them.

Might also double-check your settings/value in the TQSL information.

And then, as we both know, Murphy is alive and well and strange things always can and do happen.

Hope y'all are doing well.

Thanks Nolan.

The county changed in Log4OM for some reason - strange.

Doing great here - still topside. How have you been? You retired did you not?

Terry,

Yep ... all-in-all doing OK. Couple health hiccups, but all under control.

And I did retire back in 2015. It was a great day to close my inspection business ... way too many issues to deal with as I was 'maturing' ... ;)

I miss the work and helping folks. I don't miss the realtors or crawling around attics on hands and knees. In the end what kept me from continuing was the toll on the knees.

Was going to get the boat out of storage this weekend but it looks like the weekend is going to be a wash out.
