Lost Database and Lost config

Hi,
I have loast my database and my config.

I copied the json config from the backup up area and copied it into C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Log4OM2 and renamed it config.json I also cpoied the database from the backup and put it in the root folder. I am not getting either my config or database to open.

Help much appreciated

OM, (your name is not on your web/thread post) ...

Look in the "current" User Guide starting on Page 267 under the label: "Emergencies"

Steps there should get you on the right path.

Well that was painful, transferred the SQlite file to my laptop and the database opened.
So exported the whole log as an ADIF, transferred the ADIF and config.json back over to the Main PC created a new database and imported the ADIF.
Multiple backups now created in two places.

It might be wise to store the SQLite file in Dropbox or Google Drive because often Windows objects to files in the user folders being written to.

I dont recommend OneDrive for this

I am referring to the sqlite main database file to avoid write errors
