Hi all,
I'm pretty new in software logging and after looking at the well known around, I've choosed Log4OM because it looks easy to use and complete.
So I've started using it from a few days and for normal QSOs it really goes like I would!
Yesterday I've tried using it in a 50 MHz local Contest and I was in trouble...
It was problematic to:
- enter first the callsign in the Info QSO tab
- then the program goes automatically in Contest mode tab to insert the Received report
- Switch with F1 to QSO Info tab and press 4-5 time tab to go to the Locator field, or need to take the mouse and click on Locator tab to insert it.
It's very confusing and sometimes I made error in typing in the wrong place!!!
Am I doing something wrong using Log4OM in Contest mode?
Has someone suggestions on how it must be used?
Thanks a lot for the help here

I think that what you need is a locator entry field in the contest tab when contest mode is enabled? same as were do with RST sent and received.

Ciao Terry,
and thanks a lot for the very fast reply!
Yes, it would be very easy this way!
So I suppose no other way to deal with the Contest Mode.
I hope that Daniele and/or other people working around could put this new implementation in next release...This way one could use Log4OM also for contesting!!!
Thanks and 73
