I have my HF rig connected to Log4om and everything works great. I don't normally log my vhf and uhf contacts and those radios are not connected to Log4om. When I tried to manually log a 2 meter contact the other day I couldn't figure out how to enter the frequency either on the initial entry or by trying to edit the contact after initial entry. When I try to enter a frequency with a decimal point it doesn't happen.
What am I overlooking?

Re: Manually entering frequency
You have overlooked that you have to check "suspend cat reading " in the Settings TAB. If you do this you can enter the frequency like 144300. If you leave the Frequency input band will be shown as 2m and the QSO will be logged correctly after you hit the ADD button.
But don´t forget to disable "suspend cat reading" if you like to log contacts from your shortwave rig
