Log4OM

Just to say thanks to Patrice who suggested FLrig. This works without issue on the 747. How strange that Omnirig or Hamlin won't work.. Deffinatley a software config issue somewhere. The Baud rate, Com port and stop bits are the same as the other two software. The only difference I can see so far is that the polling rate is set to 50ms in FLrig.. I did try this in Hamlib but it does the same and drops the connection after roughly 1 minute!! I really want CAT to work in Log40m as the whole purpose for me is to be able to click on the Spots and change frequency.

do you have teamviewer installed on the computer that has Log4OM?if you do send me an email and I will log into your computer and sort this out

Teamviewer sessions seems to indicate either a bad interface cable of radio CIV chip - We are exploring further

Well I am pleased to report that after over 1 Year of playing about trying to get the CAT working on my FT747 I have finally got it working perfectly with the help of Terry.
Terry had remoted on to my computer for me and checked all the settings and advised me that the ZLP CAT cable was very good.

I can confirm that with the correct settings it now works without fault!!

I seem to be having the same problem. I am running omni rig V2 and it works fine. I cannot get log4om v2 to connect to my FT-747GX here is my settings.
rig FT-747
Port com 3
baud rate 4800
data bits 8
parity none
stop bits 2
RTS high
DTR high
Poll int. 100
Timeout, ms 2000
lom4om 2 shows green CAT,FLDigi and super cluster
I appreciate any help that I can get

Hi Pat.....I think DTR should be Low and make sure that the baud rate is the same as on the radio.

Lets us know if it works.
By the way Pat, please post any issues with V2 under Version 2 of the forum.
