Spotting Site Information

Good Day! I am returning to Log4OM from a time away off the air. Could someone point me to a web site, book, article, or other source of information on how to select a spotting site to use with this logging application? I have a basic understanding of how it works ... but I lack any real insight into how to select a spotting site - or multiple sites - to use with the logger. I am primarily a sideband DXer, only rarely doing digital mode or CW. If you point the way, I will follow and do my homework. THANK YOU. K8JHR
