HRD Log realtime upload not working since 2.27

Hello

My real-time log upload to HRD log was working till I upgraded to the latest version 2.27.1
Kindly look into the issue. Also please let me know how to download the latest country file.

Are they FT8 QSO's that are not uploading?

Dear Terry G4POP,

Yes, they are FT8 qsos. Usually, with every update, settings remained the same and the live update was functional.
Okay, I will see the manual meanwhile I have downgraded to 2.26 and that functionality is back.

Can you please comment on the city file update?

Firstly you should load version 2.27.1.0

In the release notes, on this forum and on social media for this release we explain why you need to do some work it reads as follows:

Because each of the FT8/4 programmes like WSJT, JTDX, JTAlert etc have differing ideas on what and how data should be transferred to other software we have just spent a solid two weeks re-writing the UDP system on Log4OM

Users now are able to select which particular JT software they want to connect to and decide on what update as below.

1) decide if you want to update data using external sources (USE_EXTERNAL_DATA)
2) decide if you want to update GRIDSQUARE (UPDATE_GRIDSQUARE)
3) decide if you want to UPLOAD QSO to external sources (UPLOAD_QSO)
4) decide if you want to update CQ values (UPDATE_CQ_ITUZONE)
5) decide if you want to save a QSO through JT message (ex message12 option)



You should therefore follow these steps:

1. Take a screenshot of your existing UDP connections window for future reference.
2. Delete the UDP connections.
3. Re-Instate the UDP connections either by using the pre-set buttons at the bottom or manually
4. Ensure that the UDP port numbers in the new UDP connections are the same as in your original set up and as shown in the screen shot that you took in item 1 above.
5. Restart all programs

This will resolve your issues.

As for updating the files (Country, CTY etc) as I stated in my last reply this is achieved by going to Settings/Update resources and then select the files that you require updating.

Thank you very much for your kind support.
Will do the needful.
I went to settings - update resource - country file. Clicked it and there was no visible action and no confirmation of any action.
Hence this confusion and I bothered you.

You are simply amazing.

Bhanu,

The update works in the background. Once completed you get an Information Icon alert and if you left click on that icon you will note that the specific update you have requested has been completed.

I just did the same Country update, as you noted, and it took over a minute or more.

Images below are what appeared on my Main UI once the routine was completed.
