HI !
Don't know if this is the appropriated section of the forum (please forgiveme and move this discussion in another section if wrong).
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if this option doesn't exist...
DX Cluster
My goal: have a quick visualization of what I might need in each band and in each mode for each country (a "needed" function)
I thought I could achieve this using filters : hide worked, keep bands, keeps mode on bands.
None of the combinations are producing my expected results (or .. I'.m not able to achieve that or I do not understand something).
Example
we now have 4W8X , Timor-Lest, which is operating on several bands and modes.
I was looking the possibility to fill most of the slots and DX Cluster may help a lot.
So, I set up "hide worked on + keep bands on + keep mode on band on" (look at "1" in the picture).
This is a quick and helpful view but not for "needed".
I worked 4W8X on 80m FT4; I don't see the new spot for 4W8X on 80m CW (look at "2" in the picture)
Any advice on how I can see on the cluster just the "needed" ?
If not possible now, would it be possible for Daniele to think to add it in the future ?
I think it may be a nice feature....
Any comments is more than welcome.
Kind regards.

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
Rick,
The area indicated in my screen shot does exactly what you ask everytime you enter a call
The grey squares indicate that....................
You have not worked the country on that band or that mode
So on 40m I have worked Italy on all modes
But on 15m I have only worked Italy on digi and CW - not on phone
See user guide for a more detailed description of this usefull matrix

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
Thank you Terry.
Yes, that works perfectly.
But I have to click on each spot to see if I needed or not.
Do you have any option to filter that on DX Cluster ?
Best regards,
Rick I2BRT.

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
Well it works in the cluster view for me, I have it set up as images below:
So I need Barbados on 17m band and phone
And Bosnia-Herzegovina on CW (Already worked using another mode(s) on 80m)

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
Gotcha.
I'll have a look at the colors and report back.
Thank you.

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
HI !
Sorry ... I still do not understand something, I apologize for being a so "dummy user".
I need Tanziania on 12m CW (on 12m only worked Tanziana on USB and FT8)
This is reported by statistic, no QSO on 12m band AND cw.
So based on what you say I should be able to see that I need Tanzania on 12m/CW on Cluster (based on color or whatelse)
Unless I'm somewhere doing something wrong, actually I'm not able to see that I need Tanzania on 12m/CW.
If I set flag on "Hide Worked" + "Keep Bands" + "Keep mode on band" = no display at all on the cluster view.
If I don't set any flag on "Hide" then I see the spot on the cluster view.
In that case I think it should be that yellow/orange colored (B/M mode not worked) because I'm using the default colors.
It seems to be a green, worked same mode or worked same mode group.
This seems to me to be wrong (and I may loose a dx hi ...)
So sorry to ask again :
What's wrong with my setting ?
Is it possible to view the needed or missing band/mode for a country in the Cluster ?
Many thanks

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
Then next one is similar to the above.
Sierra Leone : never worked 10m CW
There is a spot for 9L5M at 28022 (10m cw) but it's not reported as needed
Worked 9L5M on 10m FT8 at 28.095, so I need that on CW.

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
You are not displaying 'EMMISSION TYPE' in the cluster grid so I cant see the results expected
Also you dont show what colours you have selected for the cluster in the program config

HI !
>>You are not displaying 'EMMISSION TYPE' in the cluster grid so I cant see the results expected<<
I'm going to add "Emisison type" so we can see in the next tests.
>>Also you dont show what colours you have selected for the cluster in the program config<<
Actually I think I already reported this information in my previuos post :
"In that case I think it should be that yellow/orange colored (B/M mode not worked) because I'm using the default colors."

Re: Dx Cluster : filters
Back again.
No joy.
This time TO9W spotted 17m CW mode.
Never worked St. Martin on CW on 17m, so this is a needed contact.
CLUSTER with "hide" etc. not showing this DX.
Cluster without "hide" etc showing all white
L4OM GUI interface correctly show this DX needed on the slots when for band/mode I type this callsign I don't understand ....
