Award statistics keep changing

i've searched with no luck
i am trying for dxcc. without warning, the total number of countries worked changes. in my case, from 85 to 82. in that universe, it's hard to see what's missing, or what's inflated, or both. i perform a rescan each time i open log4om. most of my data comes from wsjtx. i have tried to open a backup file with no luck.

can anyone help me? thanks

Have you done a LOTW download and is the count of DXCC as shown on the ARRL DXCC website?

hi terry, thanks so much for the reply. i was starting to think i'd never get any help. i use Log4om for my own personal purposes. i'm not filing to get dxcc, only keeping count for myself. and this changing count is driving me mad! it would seem to me that it would have to be looking at two different files to get two different counts, but there's only the one database. unless there's a bug of some kind, but noone has jumped in here to say they've themselves seen it.
