Today I opened the Net Control window so that I could look at it before trying it out on todays ANZA DX net.

Up the top right I see 4 buttons. 3 of which look like stacks of pikelets (mini flapjacks for you USA stns) and 1 that could be a bucket of Golden Syrup (treacle for you USA's, but 100 times better..) to go over the pikelets.

Could a future version please have those popup / mouseover help things so that plebs like me can work it out without having to refer to the manual.. Same for the other buttons on that page too please.

PS, not a suggestion, but a question while I am here.......... The user manual shows BAND & MODE buttons under the Net Name area but on my program, these are not there... How do I get these to show ???

Yes I agree we do need tool tips and these will be added as time permits.

The screen shot was from an early development version and the buttons are no longer accesable, I need to update it, that's my fault! The buttons will be replaced by band, frequency and mode indicators in the near future because most of our net users have requested that.

I hope that you find net control usefull, I use it three or four times a week and it is something that I have wanted for several years.

thank you for replying Geoff.. and I hope that the anniversary went well. I spent a bit of time today mucking about with the net control and I think that it will be useful indeed. OK also on the tool tips.. great stuff! And of course, you are forgiven for the pics in the help file
