Re: Log4OM Cluster Spots to Flex 6000

Hi all,

I’ll chime in.

There are two ways to get spots into Flex SmartSDR or Maestro.

First is to send UDP N1MM formatted spots on a port of your choosing. In Flex SmartSDR CAT you simply define a Spot port to receive the UDP packets. This is how others are doing it.

Second is to establish a ...

Re: V2.6.1 bulk editor not working

Sorry Terry,

Let me elaborate. It was late last night/this morning when I sent the message.

I am attempting to bulk edit my log for entries which have MyState blank (should be NJ)

I open QSO Manager.
I create a filter MyState NOT EQUAL NJ and make sure it is added to filters and checked.
I close ...

Using V2.6.1 and trying to bulk edit.

I bring up QSO manager and apply a filter MyState Not Equal NJ and it finds 1666 entries. on the main QSO Manager page I hit select to select the entries and click update Info in upper left. I get an hour glass that will eventually go back to the ...

Re: When clicking on Cluster spots changes my rig to filter 2 - IC-7300 ICOM

I am having same issue with a Flex Radio and another user has the issue with an Elecraft K3, both running Hamlib. Log4OM is sending commands to the radio to set the filter when changing modes. They should not be sending a filter command.

Re: CPU OVERLOAD

I have not seen that kind of CPU usage but I do find Log4OM uses a LOT more CPU and RAM than other logging programs.
Log4OM after running QSL Manager uses 13% CPU and 900 Mb RAM. Yes, graphics in Log4OM V2 are gorgeous but it does take a lot to run it.

DX Labs Commander, DX Keeper, Spot Collector ...

Re: Hamlib Flex 6xxx IP interface sets mode to narrow

Here is the reply I received from Hamlib developers.

Can a command be added into the Hamlib config to do what they suggest?

Dave wo2x

"Log4OM must be asking for the filter to be set. There's a RIG_PASSBAND_NOCHANGE they could pass in that would not set the filter.
Either you have to set your ...

Re: V2.2.4 Clicking on cluster window that has focus does not work.

Hi Daniele,

That is fine if the single click would QSY the radio but it does not. When the windows are overlapping a single click loads the call in the main window but does not QSY the radio to the frequency.
A fast double click on an area of the cluster window not overlapping the main window will ...

Re: Hamlib Sets Elecraft K3S Filter To Wide

I agree OmniRig is more stable but limited in handling radios such as Flex with multiple slices (VFOs).

I am awaiting reply back from Hamlib developers if they can just remove the function where Hamlib is setting RX bandwidth. Or at least make it a command line option.

Re: V2.2.4 Clicking on cluster window that has focus does not work.

And to add to this, a sinble click loads the call in the main log window but does not QSY the radio to correct frequency or mode. Only a double click does. A single click loads in in the log window on main program but brings the main program to the forefront (in focus for mouse commands). It should ...
