Unfortunately, I am going to have to concede. I have spent the whole day trying to connect the latest version to my Sun SDR and it just will not work. Okay, I think I may have discovered what is causing the radio to behave strangely. I think it's got something to do with the com port settings in the software. Expert Electronics. I've been using this software alongside Log4OM four months now and I've had not one single problem. It's only since I installed it on this laptop I have started having issues. It's got something to do with the configuration with the cats. Should I be using specific comports?

No, no other programs running. This is a brand-new laptop. I have just reinstalled the logbook again. However, what I didn't do this time was check the Omnirig box during the initial installation. Everything seems to work okay. The software shows the correct frequency of the radio and it seems okay....
