Cluster watchdog malfunctioning ?

In latest releases a cluster watchdog was introduced ( am I rigth ? )
I've noted no more spots are shown after a cluster connection failure , this is what telnet cluster shows :

New country/band/mode LoTW notification

Maybe I didn't read so well the manual ... :D
Once LoTW download has completed, can one be notified of award confirmation status ? (i.e. dxcc new band, new mode, new country and so on...)

Cluster takes long time to load

When cluster connection starts, it takes 5 seconds to become "connected" and further 8 seconds for cluster windows being populated.
Is it a common behavior ?
It's non a real issue however....

Re: Latency

Just for kicks and giggles, can you try disabling VOACAP propagation in your settings, and see if it helps.

Bingo !
I could have done it before....
Now switch between all sections, cluster row, folders etc etc is almost immediate.
Meanwhile, i installed LOG4OM into a Ryzen7 5825 CPU Notebook ...

Re: LoTW freezes

No problem to wait , but I think the problem resides on Log4om, it's a ten against twenty records making difference ? , and no LoTW errors back , it simply freezes.
Again , another 3K records adif uploaded with TQSL gives no issues.

LoTW freezes

10 qsos are uploaded ok
20 or more upload freezes (I didn't try where the limit is , 11 rather than 19...)
I enabled log tracing but nothing seems involved.
Attached is a side by side log of failed and successful operation.
Of course the LOG4OM generated adif file (also one with 1000+ qso) is ...

Re: CI-V transceive and band decoder

I will simply say this:

A lot of this stuff is pretty horrible; OmniRig, FLRig, even hamlib are pretty janky for what they're trying to do. I wrote one application that used hamlib, was pretty shocked at how poor it performed, and wound up moving the entire project to Arduino and writing my own ...

Cluster filters

It would be interesting to have :

User customizable preset filters :
Few tickboxes or buttons that a user can edit, i.e. bands 10 to 40mt, warc bands, 30mt only, etc.etc.
If I need the only warc bands , now I've got to select each of them from the list, eventually modify them to get back the ...

Re: Latency

Hi Daniele,
If there aren't complains from other users, I suspect it's an issue of mine....
I'll try installation and behavior check on a Ryzen7 new laptop
