I tested again this morning after restarting my PC and it did retain the settings between instances, so I must have done something incorrectly during my previous test.

1. It is not possible for the small statistics window to be persistant on restart due to the design of that window. However you have the same information in the matrix to the right of the input pane so do you need to duplicate it with the ...
