Re: Internal cluster server response to login
Nolan, I have not used the internal server at all. I am using SliceMaster with the Flex as an aggregate server so its all done there.

Re: I want to be a "dumb" user
Charlie, I can connect to you remotely if you wish and resolve this. That's probably the simplest method. If you want to do it yourself you need to delete all your old UDP connections and start over. It will NOT work even if your connections are right. Sorry if I missed it. Are you using JTalert as ...

Re: question for flex users
Yes exactly. Mine has always been temperamental. As a matter of fact right now I cant get radio2/slice2 to work at all. I switch to Radio 2 and after a short time Log4OM shows 1 again as it did not switch. The reason I liked HamLib was it would auto switch the active slice to Log4om and I could log ...

Re: question for flex users
Terry, I was never able to constantly get that to work. Have not tried it in a while though.
You would think that with the Flex and each slice being on different COMs it would be like two radios but it wasn't. I remember talking to you and Lele about it but don't remember the outcome.

Re: Omnirig and Log4om
Also make sure you install the latest drivers for that radio. I would not rely on the fact that the OEM software connects.
The setup and 210x drivers can be found here.

Re: question for flex users
It once again exports qso's to log4om automatically, though I don't understand why one cat control program works and not the other. They are two different animals and connect using different technology. I assume you only have 1 slice working with Omnirig as I have never been able to make two work w...

Re: Contest Logging
I don't think you are doing anything wrong. But Log4OM was not originally designed for the function you desire. It was designed to be the main interface for contesting and adding contacts in the Log4OM contest interface.

Re: Contest Logging
Barry, we are talking about this and as I explained the issue I started having some questions myself. What would be the purpose of even running Log4OM in contest mode if you are using 3rd party incoming connections to make contacts? You might have a valid reason but I am not sure what it would be? T...
